1. What you did over summer?

Over the summer, I didn't go anywhere much but I had a pretty good time. My friend invited me to her house to watch a movie that is not showing in Vietnam cinemas, and it is called Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2, the very last episode of Harry Potter. The movie was awesome and I had a blast playing with my two friends when the movie was over. As the day goes by, school days gets closer. And the last three days of summer, my mom came in busting through my door and yelled "Pack up!". I was pretty surprised because I have no idea where we are going and it's almost time for school. So then, I had a sudden trip to Vung Tau for 2 days and my brother taught me how to swim to prepare me for P.E Swimming. Even though I haven't fully learned how to swim, I'm still happy because I think I wouldn't be the worst swimmer in my class. We went to visit beautiful places and walk on the beach at night. We also ate a lot of good food and I've experienced many things in Vung Tau. Many other people went to a lot of places during their summer. But for me, I think that's enough to make my summer special. :)

2. What are you most/least looking forward to this year in Social Studies?

Most - The first day of school, I was looking forward to meeting Mr. Blake and his fun teaching techniques. I also looking forward to art projects and new Social Studies books. I also want to learn more about global issues, historical events and how the environment interact with human. I really like to learn about the past to see how life has changed.
